Agustín Esmoris

Agustín Esmoris is a Patagonia-based birding guide, field ornithologist, wildlife photographer and co-founder of Birding Puerto Madryn. He is the author of Birds of Península Valdés and has published field observations, nesting records, behavioral notes and natural-history articles on birds of Chubut and Patagonia.
He also serves as an eBird regional reviewer for five departments in Chubut, eastern Patagonia: Biedma, Escalante, Florentino Ameghino, Gaiman and Rawson. This role reflects his long-term familiarity with local bird distribution, seasonality, unusual records and field-identification challenges in northeastern and coastal Patagonia.
His guiding focuses on habitat reading, local target birds, seasonal movements, bird behavior, photography opportunities and the practical field logistics required by Patagonia’s wind, distance, light and open landscapes.
Agustina Ayala

Born in Puerto Madryn, Agustina Ayala is a tourism specialist and bilingual guide who grew up between the sea and the steppe.
Before joining Birding Puerto Madryn, she spent more than a decade working with visitors in the Península Valdés Natural Protected Area, promoting respectful tourism around wildlife and its habitat.
Her guiding brings together visitor care, local hosting and natural history interpretation across Península Valdés, coastal Chubut and the Patagonian steppe, with particular attention to marine mammals, geology, coastal landscapes and Patagonian birds.
On private outings she helps shape the travel side of the field experience: clear communication, timing, comfort and the practical logistics that make birding days feel calm, well paced and reliable from pickup to return.
